A Bit of Background

Of all of the doctors, 36.3 percent are women. Women of color only make up 46% of the women in medicine, making the representation of WOC doctors relatively low.

At TheMedwork, we want to help create a community for women of color to be more equipped to enter medical spaces. Hopefully, we can shorten the gap to show young girls that they too can be doctors. 

While we cater predominantly to WOC, we hope to foster a community of inclusivity and diversity for everyone to become successful. Join us as we learn to be successful on our journey!
