We started TheMedwork after becoming familiar with our unique experience as pre-medical woc students. Coming from an Afro-Caribbean background, our parents instilled discipline and knowledge of how important a community can be to personal growth. Community creates an opportunity to share experiences, find outlets, and share resources, which are critical to success in a career (especially in medicine). This led us to TheMedwork; an environment for pre-medical students to foster relationships and receive information related to their future.

As of right now, TheMedwork is currently being self-funded by the cofounders. Eventually, we would like to open up the opportunity for donations!

To get involved, you can follow us on our social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, etc.) at @themedwork or promote our organization to friends and family. If you are a pre-medical student, you can also contact us and apply to our internship positions linked in the "Get Involved" page in the header.

We would like to grow our platforms by adding individuals to our team and creating content related to medical tracks (such as practice questions, facts of the day, medical news updates, and more). In the future, we would like to outreach and host events for individuals to get into contact with medical professionals, have game nights, and movie nights with our community. We hope that you would like to come along!
