Announcing our volunteer programs for 2022

TheMedwork is excited to announce that we are looking for volunteers to join our team! We can start by explaining the open roles, what they entail, and more.

Roles that are currently available:

Social Media Director:

This role is for a tech-savvy person that enjoys managing social media platforms. The primary responsibility of this role is to help track and perform maintenance for the social media platforms. This can involve posting content created by the Media team, replying to comments, updating content, and things of that nature. If you are responsible and like social media, this is the job for you!

Web Design Director:

This job is for the designers! The Web Design Director is the primary overseer of the site. They focus on helping update and maintain the site to make sure that it remains as functional as possible. Coding knowledge is not needed, so do not worry if you are a beginner!

Media Design Director:

This job is for a person that loves to create! The Media Design Director is responsible for some content creation for the platforms. They help make the infographics and posts for the social sites! They will often collaborate with the Social Media Director.

Outreach Director:

If you love to talk to people, this is the job for you! The Outreach Director is responsible for reaching out to people in medical spaces to support/contribute to TheMedwork. This can involve finding medical professionals to speak at zoom events, find inspiring stories, etc.

Creative Director:

If you love to doodle and/or you enjoy creating ideas, this is the job for you! The Creative Director is primarily responsible for designing and developing ideas for future projects. This can involve remaking the TheMedwork logo for different holidays, creating doodles for social media posts, or coming up with ideas for new content to post on our platforms (in collaboration with the Media Design Team.

Writing Director:

If you love to write, this is the position for you! The Writing Director's main task is to help with the organization's parts that are writing-intensive (such as blog posts, in-depth social media captions, statements from our organization, and more).

Intern:

An intern works as a collaborator within one of the teams above. You would work with the Directors to ensure that tasks are completed successfully (and efficiently). If you would like to work on a team, this is the role for you!
